In order to meet the changing ways that cancer patients access information and community a new mobile friendly version of CancerConnect was launched in January. The new version allows patients and their caregivers to access daily cancer news and other patients with a single click from their mobile device.

During 2017 the CancerConnect information resource and on-line community was accessed over 3 million times and for the first time over 50% of those accessing CancerConnect did so with their mobile device.

Overall 54% of all CancerConnect users accessed the information and support community using their mobile device. Traditional desktop computer access accounted for 36% of all traffic and 10% of use was via a “tablet”.
