OMNI Health Media to Launch Women’s Health Ambassador Program

Sun Valley, Idaho and Austin, Texas—OMNI Health Media, leading specialty publisher of women’s health and oncology content for consumers, including Women magazine, is launching a Women’s Health Ambassador program to educate young women about critical women’s health issues, promote health and wellness among women of all ages, and provide a platform for individuals and organizations to raise money to fund higher education or a cause.

Participants in the Women’s Health Ambassador program will be provided valuable information and training in women’s health issues and will then serve in their communities as Women’s Health Ambassadors, providing women’s health education to other women and promoting and selling Women magazine.

Weaver, MD, founder and CEO of OMNI Health Media, says, “The Women’s Health Ambassador Program is a grass-roots effort to engage women in dialog about important health issues among their peer group and in the family. The program will provide high-school and college-age women with the opportunity to learn about women’s health issues and with valuable entrepreneurial experience, in addition to helping them fund their college education.”   

Co-founded by Addison Holmes and Noelle Weaver the Women’s Health Ambassadors earn money by selling magazine subscriptions to Women magazine, the premier women’s health and wellness magazine covering health and wellness, prevention and treatment topics related to a variety of common women’s health issues including: cancer, arthritis, bone health, and heart disease. Subscriptions, which are discounted 30 percent to $10 per year when sold through a Women’s Health Ambassador, also include a monthly women’s health e-newsletter.

Women’s Health Ambassadors’ earnings follow a schedule that provides them with a recurring revenue stream to help fund the ongoing costs of their education: Ambassadors earn ~ 70% for subscriptions and renewal revenue for each year up to three years.

“Our program is unique and unlike other programs in that we are promoting health and not selling cookies, chocolate or nuts,” Dr. Weaver says, “and it allows organizations and individuals to generate revenue that is recurring.”
